Pixel Art

Many people don't know this, but DeviantArt was a pretty big place to post pixel art in the 2010's (at least, it was to me). I've always admired the tenacity of such artists to be able to make such stunning work on such small canvases. It influenced me to start posting my own pixel art on the aforementioned website. I stopped drawing it after I left Deviantart because many social media websites simply aren't optimized for posting and viewing tiny pixel images. This all changed in late 2023, when I found a place suitable enough to post pixel art of all kinds, that being the indie web! On Neocities alone, there were tons of people sharing their pixel creations, and I'd be lying if I said these sites didn't influence me to pick up pixel art again after all these years. And so, I spent 2024 trying to dip my toes back into the medium. So here's to hoping I'll make more pixel art in the future 🥂 Happy viewing!
