Summary

A strange dragon said to be the emissary of happiness, but also destruction of the self. Many have searched the world in hopes of being granted eternal happiness by this creature, but none have returned to tell the tale. He is my secondary fursona.

Personality

Siren is not a physically violent dragon. Despite his overall disdain for humanity, it doesn't desire for their extinction. Its not like the apes can occupy his attention more than the humans can. He likes to mentally test, almost borderline torture, people who try to seek him out. Because of this many people view the dragon as cruel. Siren has a very laid-back, but cunning, demeanor; it's able to decieve humans like it's nothing. When it's not busy dealing with humans, it spends its time relaxing in cool and dark places.

History

Siren was sent by the heavens to grant happiness to people on Earth, despite the cost it could bring to one's mind. Over time, it grew apathetic to humanity after people who Siren felt didn't deserve to experience such bliss were asking for happiness. As a result, it secluded itself on a high mountaintop, away from the prying eyes of humanity. That didn't stop people from trying to seek him out though...

Without getting into specifics, Siren is formed from the feelings of apathy I've felt towards those I've tried to help in my life, but whose actions continuously disappoint me. Much like Siren, I couldn't control their actions, and found life to be much more bearable when I put distance between us. While I'm not as manipulative as him, he tends to reflect some of my more negative traits, so take of that as you will. I also just wanted to have an excuse to design a character with an angelic motif. What can I say? Angels are cool.
